Victoria Pastore Obituary
Born in New Haven on Nov. 24, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Carmela DeLucia Ruggiero. In her younger years, she worked at MITE Corporation and Winchester Repeating Arms Co. She was one of the earliest residents of Berger Apartments, having lived there for 37 years.
She is survived by two sons, former New Haven Police Chief Nicholas Pastore and Leonard F. (Eleanor) Pastore, of Meriden; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Joseph and Vincent Pastore, Jr.; two brothers, Pasquale and Anthony Ruggiero; five sisters, Antoinette Bockius, Assunta "Susie" Montagna, Christina Votto, Mary Tomasi and Lucy Ruggiero; and her granddaughter, Dawn Pastore.
Funeral Services and Interment were privately held. Arrangements were in care of The Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St., New Haven. Expressions of Comfort and Condolence for the family may be directed to www.celentanofuneralhome.com.
