Nancy Andrew Obituary

GREENFIELD - Nancy Lee (Roussel) Andrew, 61, went to be with her Lord on Saturday (5/30/15). Born on October 24, 1953 in Athol, she was the daughter of Roland J. and Estelle M. (Letourneau) Roussel.
She was a 1971 graduate of Athol-Royalston Regional High School. She moved from Athol to Greenfield in 1974.
Nancy was owner of Kids' Kastle Family Day Care for more than 20 years. She was most recently employed as a Para with the Gill-Montague Regional School District. She was actively involved in Troop 16 of the Boy Scouts of America with two of her sons. But the loves of her life were her 5 children and she loved every moment that she spent with them. Being sure that her family knew of, and saw Christ's love through her, was a part of every day for her.
Survivors include her five children: Amanda, Corey, Chelsea, Jared and Jordan; four sisters: Jean Desrosiers, Denise Maynard, Debi Allen (her twin), and Cindy Lanoue-Collette; two brothers: Fred and Bill Roussel, as well as countless nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She also leaves her former husband, Cliff Andrew.
Calling hours for Nancy will be on Thursday (6-4-15) from 1 to 3 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 14 High St., Greenfield, with funeral services beginning at 3. At the children's request, burial will be private.

Jordan and Family,

Two years ago I met Nancy for the first time and the love she had for Jordan and her family radiated from her. It was very sad to watch her go through this battle but she is no longer in pain. My heart is with you. What a spectacular woman!

Jared and family,
It's hard to find words meaningful enough to express how I feel for you all. You have made her proud and she will rest peacefully knowing all that she has brought to this earth will not go unrecognized. By keeping her close in your heart she will always be with you.

First class woman with the patience of a saint. What a stellar employee for the GMRSD. Always helpful in the many roles she played here for us. Turners Falls High School will miss her dearly.

So sorry to see such a nice person leave this earth too soon. Knowing where she is now provides some comfort, but until you meet again take comfort in the many fond memories you have of Nancy. May God bless you with peace at this time of sadness.
