Fancis Brunson Obituary

Francis "Frank" A. Brunson was born on July 14, 1924 in Arizona. Entered into eternal rest on January 3, 2013 in Visalia.
Frank was a WWII veteran in the United States Army serving a tour in Germany on a tank crew. After the Army, he worked on farms until he was hired by the United States Forest Service, starting as a firefighter then became one of the crew members that built trails, made signs for Sequoia Forest, and Mineral King Area. Some of those trails and sign still remain today. He ended his career maintaining the parks.
He is predeceased by his loving wife Lena, 8 siblings, his parents, his granddaughter Stacy Ross Hernandez.
He is survived by a sister Helen Delk. His daughter Alta Ross (Steven), son Glen Brunson (Annette), grandsons Jeff Ross (Eliza), Michael, Robert Paul, granddaughter Nicole Paul, and four great-granddaughters Brittany, Cheyandrea, Ellie and Janie Ross, and two great-great-grandsons Manuel and Samuel Espinoza. Frank will be remembered as a gentle quiet man. But when he did talk it was usually a funny anecdote.
As was his wishes there will be no services. Just remember him in your thoughts. He was a great father and grandfather.
