I am speechless and at a loss. I worked with Vicki on graveyard shift at Eagle Mountain Casino, what a kind soul and the shift flew by with the antics we did keeping each other awake. Walk in Peace.

There's an emptiness among us.
Loneliness, for we miss her and know that she is no longer available to talk, laugh, or giggle with us.
Sorrow, that is pretty raw…more raw than we expected.
There is anger underneath; who asked her or Wendol or Valerie, or any of us , whether she could develop this disease?
Relief, because she is no longer fighting her up-hill battle of pain, frustration, and fear.
Happiness because she is with those who have gone ahead, ….oh, picture how Mom hugs, and kisses her and lets her know how happy she is to see her, now that she has arrived.
Listen to how she tells them, what they already know, how much she was torn about going. How much she valued Wendol's love and care. She knew how difficult it was at times.
Listen to her excitement about Sarah, as everyone tells her that Sarah is going to be fine. That Valerie and James are good parents, and that she will be with them always with her love, and unspoken guidance and help.
Brothers, sisters, family…large, extended family, including so many friends …are doing fine. Everyone there can nod and let her know how much she is loved.
She's come Home!
Thanks be to God!
See you later, Sis!

In loving memory of my sweet Aunt Vicki. Though I was just getting to know you again, you made me feel we had never lost touch. I love you for that.
