William G. Brumley

1949 - 2017

Local Businessman and farmer William G. Brumley a resident of Porterville, CA passed away on January 13, 2017. He was born on February 10, 1949 in Keiser, Arkansas to Cecil and Victoria Brumley. He was 67 years old. William enjoyed snow skiing, spending time with family and grandchildren at the beach. Brumley graduated from Porterville High School in 1967. After graduating high school and working, Brumley served in the Army from 1968 to 1970. It was during that time he married his high school sweetheart, Linda Anderson. Brumley was a farmer and owned and operated Anderson Fence Company for 40 years. William was associated with the Porterville Church of the Nazarene and assisted in the Children's Department several years. He along with his wife, was presented the Outstanding Service Award for their service. William is survived by his wife of 48 years Linda Brumley. Son Brian Brumley and wife Gretchen and their three children Hannah, Aden and Mason. Son, Craig Brumley and his wife Melissa and their two children Caleb and Cody. Nephews, extended family and friends. He is also survived by James (Jean), Dale and Benny Brumley of Terra Bella, John (Ethel) Brumley , Ann ( Arnie) Nelms, Linda Jean (Steve) Christiansen of Porterville, Bonnie (Vinnie) Gibson of Maricopa. Celebration of Life is scheduled for 11:00 am, Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the Porterville Church of the Nazarene.
