Palmer Lee Caudill, age 75, of Greenfield, Ohio, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
He was born on May 19, 1942 in Ironton, Ohio, the son of Mitchell and Neva (LeMaster) Caudill, and then spent his childhood in Kentucky before moving to Greenfield.
Palmer was a faithful Christian. He retired as a truck driver from Morman Feed Supply and then went to work at ABX Air in Wilmington and after ABX closed, he went to work and was presently employed at JD Equipment in Washington C.H.
He is survived by his wife, Doris (Castle) Caudill whom he married on September 18, 1959; one daughter, Betty Regeana (Charlie) Atkinson of Greenfield; two grandchildren, Christee (Ryan) Sweitzer of Leesburg and Charlie (Carlie Branson) Atkinson, Jr.; two great grandchildren, Caden and Chloe Sweitzer; two brothers, Jackie (Merle) Caudill of Urbana and Johnny (Brenda) Caudill of Paintsville, KY; one sister, Wilma Elderidge of Paintsville, KY; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and including a special nephew, David (Jessica) Wright of Washington C.H.; one brother-in-law, Robert (Jane) Castle of Auxier, KY.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Rodney and Danny Caudill and both parents.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 17 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor George Nagel officiating. Burial will follow in the White Oak Grove Cemetery in Buena Vista.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to assist the family with expenses at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home.
