Dorothy Lombardi, who retired from the Middletown School District Library Department, and a longtime resident of Middletown, NY, passed away on March 11, 2021. She was 95.
The daughter of the late Waldina Beckmeier and Oliver H. Temme, she was born on December 28, 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri.
She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Middletown where she sang in the Church Choir, belonged to the Altar Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters of America in Middletown and the Mulberry Seniors in Middletown. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion and AARP.
She was the widow of Elmando "Jack" Lombardi.
Survivors include her children: Mark Lombardi of Poughkeepsie, NY and Linda L. Lombardi of New Paltz, NY. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jason Lombardi and Diane Lombardi and her great-granddaughter, Amelia Lombardi.
Visitation hours will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday March 16 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc., 72 West Main St., Middletown, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 16 in St. Joseph Church, 149 Cottage St., Middletown, NY. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Middletown, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities.

Mark and Linda, I remember your mother's beautiful singing voice from the St. Joseph's talent shows and Masses. Now she is singing with the angels. May she rest in peace.
