Uncle Bob, Bob, Suzanne & Jim,
I wish that Kyra & I could have been with you this past week. I am so glad we made it to NY last summer. Kyra still talks about making reindeer with Aunt Laine on Ree Ree's deck. We are all better for having had her in our lives. We love you all very much-please know that you are in my thoughts & prayers constantly.
Love,
Karen & Kyra

My thoughts race back to the first time I met Elaine in the 6th grade at Johnson Elementary School. So many happy, funny memories over the school years through graduation.
As I told you, Bob, I know one of the best things I've ever done in my life was to help the two of you elope. You hastily agreed.
I always thought I'd get to see her again and I will carry the regret until I see her in heaven.
Make new friends, but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold.
Much love and comfort to her family,
Elsie Maddox Austin

Bob & Children,
James and I are devastated that we have lost our sister and cannot be with you during this time when families need each other so much. She loved her "Bubba" so much. We know that Elaine is with our Father smiling down on all of us and that she will be in our hearts forever. Just know that we are with you all in spirit and our thoughts and prayers. Love to each of you.
Love,
Bubba, Ann and family

I've known Elaine for over 40 years. We had our first babies togeather at St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh. And after that we had a few more! I'm sorry we lost track of each other over the years. But, we saw Elaine and Bob at a wedding two years ago and it was just like we were when the kids were small-- The good old days! Our prayers are with her family. She will be sorely missed.Love Chrys and Rich

Elaine was a classmate of mine at Jordan High School. We shared many good times in our journalism class and writing for the school newspaper. I haven't seen her since we graduated in 1960, but I have never forgotten her--especially her gentleness, and loving ways. I know her family and friends will miss her greatly. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this time.

It was my honor to personally reconnect with Elaine last year. We graduated high school together in 1960. I found her as I had known her, full of love for her family and the disposition of an angel. I will forever remember her fighting spirit, courage and gentle ways. My heart and prayers go out to her family.
