Jim was like having a Dad that was also a best friend. I met Jim when Jamie and I started hanging out when we were five, so Jim was truly like a Dad. He gave me some important insights when my daughter and I weren't getting along and his input most likely saved that relationship! I am forever grateful to this fine friend and great listener. Truly a life well lived. You will be sadly missed.

Thank you, Jim, for always sitting next to me during the Sheldon games. Won a few we shouldn't have and we always talked about our mojo by each other. It was great conversation and your help to Lisa and I during our fire rebuilding was such a heart thing. Rest now and talk to Jesus about baseball.

My thoughts and prayers for you and your family. Jim, you were a father figure to me. You and Sally's influence on me in my younger years was such a positive influence. The positive family upbringing I learned from your family has influenced the way I have raised my kids. I will never forget your coaching softball, the family vacations you included me in, sleepovers( pancakes for breakfast ) , Pool parties, coming to my soccer games and supporting me through a tough time in my early adulthood! I will be there for your celebration of life, and I might just try and jump of your roof into the pool for old times sake! Thanks for all you did! Love you And your family! I will always be your tiger.

I am one of many with fond memories of Jim.
His ever present smile, quick wit, amazing recall and generosity were legendary. I will also remember him as a world class "needler", who typically always had the last laugh.
But even more, I remember him as one who always cared and was genuinely concerned about others as exemplified by his recent efforts for Maple Elementary.
Yes, he was a good friend and I will miss him, but never forget him.
