EATON — Paul R. Hamilton, age 90, of Eaton, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Hospice of Dayton. He was born April 13, 1935, to the late Albert and Daught (Stamper) Hamilton.
Paul was an avid hunter and fisherman in his younger days and collected many guns over the years. He was an active member of the Bolivar Masonic Lodge #82, the Shriners, the Eastern Star Farmersville Chapter, as well as the Dayton Rovers. He attended the Eaton United Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by siblings Watt Isaac Hamilton, Hazel Mobley, Evelyn Gaskill, Burnice Hamilton and Carl Hamilton. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Carol Sue (Kisling) Hamilton; son Richard M. (Connie) Hamilton; daughters Tina M. (Paul) Fliehman and Sue Hamilton; grandchildren Raymond Fliehman, R.C. Hamilton and Lee Fliehman; great-grandchildren Matthew Fliehman, Keagan Hamilton and Kameron Hamilton; special friends Dale and Bev Whitman, and Sarah Wallen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 1 p.m. at the Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Joe Hodapp officiating.
Burial will follow immediately after at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH, 45420 or to the Eaton United Church of Christ, 113 W. Decatur Street, Eaton, OH 45320.
