David L. Klingenberg, 51, a lifelong resident of Loveland, Colorado passed away July 24, 2012 due to complications from MS. He was born the only child to Dick and Betsy (Ross) Klingenberg on January 20, 1961. He attended Loveland schools and graduated from Thompson Valley High School in 1979, where he earned All Conference honors in Football. Dave went on to take classes at Aims Community College and Regis University. On July 31, 1982 he married his high school sweetheart Marcia Pacas and in 1984 he was blessed with his son JD (Joshua).
Family was everything to Dave. He was a devoted son, husband, and dad. Dave always said that the day he became a father was the best day of his life, and spent the rest of his life honoring this gift from God. Dave and JD enjoyed time spent outdoors- camping, hunting, and fishing. Dave was an avid Broncos fan, and enjoyed following the game even when he could no longer watch.
Dave was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in January of 2000 which led to his departure from HP after 20 years. He was passionate about finance and was devastated when he lost his sight. He continued to follow the stock market and learn as much as he could about money management and tax laws through talk radio and the business networks in order to look after his family.
He is survived by his parents Dick and Betsy Klingenberg of Loveland, CO; his wife Marcia Klingenberg of Loveland, CO; his son Joshua Klingenberg of Thornton, CO; his mother-in-law Ellen Leenerts and many others that loved him.
