Gregorio M. Mantuhac, Sr.
Gregorio Mata Mantuhac, Sr., passed away Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014, in Los Angeles. He was born May 9, 1936, in the Philippines and was a former resident of Salinas.
He previously worked for the County of Monterey as a caregiver in healthcare. Gregorio was a member of Sr. Sto. Nino Bisaya Association of Salinas.
Gregorio is survived by his wife, Magdalina Cabang Mantuhac of Los Angeles; children, Greg Mantohac, Jr. of Albuquerque, NM, Joselito Mantohac, Sr. of St. Petersburg, FL, Norberto Mantohac, Sr. of Los Angeles, Grelina Mantohac Lim of Houston, TX, Gardelio Mantuhac, Sr. of Salinas, and Herminio Mantuhoc of Los Angeles; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, with a Rosary vigil at 7 p.m., at the Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Road, Salinas, CA 93905.
A Funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, at Madonna del Sasso Catholic Church, 320 E. Laurel Dr., Salinas, CA 93906.
Burial to follow services at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 18200 Damian Way, Salinas, CA 93907.
