My sincere feelings go out the his family. I have known Dave for about 30 years, a wonderful person and great horsemen. I feel very fortunate to have seen him and got to visit with him in December. I know he his in heaven and with his horses. He always spoke highly of his family and truly loved Kat.

Dave was a huge inspiration in my world for the Cowboy way and ways of better Horsemanship for many years. I so appreciated every minute. He was the best Dad who always spoke so highly of his kids and so proud of all of his Grandkids. His wife Kat was the love of his life, you could always see how much he loved her. I will miss this man so very much, there are no others like him. He always had the best hugs & let you know that you were missed & loved. What a special Friendship that I will always treasure w my memories. R.I.P. Cowboy xo

We have lost a good man. We have lost a great friend. A dad, a husband, a grandpa, a good horseman. When you remember Dave, don't cry that he's gone, smile that you knew him. Dave was my friend and I will miss him, but I will smile.

Dave could put on one hell of a show. He was always kind and friendly to all the competitors and made you feel like you were an old friend each time he saw you. He will be greatly missed and I was honored to have met him.
