I was deeply grieved to hear of Kelly's accidental passing. I will always remember his sweet smile and keen sense of humor. We all had some joyful times with Kelly at the Bonanza. I know he will be just fine where he is, it's just that we will miss him so.Until we meet again Kelly, I'll keep a song in my heart for you. Caroline Nedwied

Knowing Kelly for 37 years, so many fun memories flood my mind. One of my favorites was when he came to our cabin for Oktoberfest. He brought his entire drum set and rocked the house. I can still see all the little kids sitting on the stairs clapping along and gazing at Kelly like a god descended from heaven. Kelly's idol sings:
"Beyond the door
There's peace I'm sure
And I know there'll be no more
Tears in heaven." (Eric Clapton)
Thanks for the memories, Kelly.

Casey. I'm so sorry to hear about Kelley. You and he were my best friends when you lived on claremont circle. Though I haven't heard from you two in years I still think about you. You guys taught me how to play poker when I was about 3 or 4 years old, and we had the wild cat club in your club house in the back yard. He could balance himself on the top bar of the monkey bars, and I remember he was a really talented painter especially for his age. I'll try to be there for the service. Jeff Collins Reno Nv.

Kelly was a fun brother in law to me and we loved to have sing a longs to the Beatles. He would leave voice messages that sounded like they were Ringo or Paul. He was one of the kindest people I will ever know and had a loving and tender heart. I have a painting he did of John Lennon hanging in my home and every time I see it, I will remember our Kelly. May he rest in peace now.

Growing up with the coolest uncle on the planet was such a joy. He was always a big brother to me. We shared a love of music, especially The Beatles. The summers that he lived with us were memorable. He taught Annie and I how to play practical jokes on our parents. Always so sweet and funny. I think of him now and smile. See you on the other side Kel.

Kelly Beyer was a lot more than just a fine musician...he was a caring, unselfish man. I know from the accounts of a friend, just how generous he really was. He never spoke of it...but I knew. I worked with him on a number of occasions, backing up local entertainers. Always the consummate professional, and always a great guy to work with. The World needs more people like Kelly...too bad he's left us.
