Ward Wyman, age 78, passed away December 20, at Carson Tahoe Hospital in Carson City, NV. Ward was born in Red Mountain, CA to Ward P. and Mary Wyman April 5, 1935. He married Barbara Tomlinson in 1959 and the had two sons, Craig and Chris Wyman. He was employed for 32 years with the U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management in fire control and recreation, retiring in 1990.
He is survived by his wife Barbara; Son Chris Wyman; Granddaughter Shannon Wyman; Grandsons Logan and Nolan Wyman; Sister Frances Graham of Tacoma, WA; and many extended family members. He is Preceded in death by his son Craig Wyman in 2008.
A celebration of life will be at the Gold Dust West in the Pinion Room on January 4, 2014 from 2pm-5pm

Uncle Ward was such a major figure in my life, and I'm so glad I got to visit with him and so much of the family in July. It's hard to find the right words, but loving him is something I will always do gratefully.

Dear Barbara and Chris,
