William James “Bill“ Hull, 82, of Bigfork, Montana passed away Monday, Jan 21, 2008 at his home. He was born in Union, UT on March 19, 1925, the son of Albert and Ivy (James) Hull. During World War II, Bill enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, seeing action in the Pacific. He received the Purple Heart for combat injury received at Iwo Jima. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in horticulture from Utah State University. His work brought him to Reno where he constructed and later became General Manager of Lakeridge Golf Course. Eventually his golf course design work led him to Bigfork, Montana where he designed and constructed Eagle Bend Golf Course. Bill and his wife Nadine have lived in Bigfork since 1990.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Marion; and a brother, Tom. He is survived by Nadine, his loving wife of 59 years; their children, Steve (Laurie), Gary (Stephanie), Lee (Kristie), Kathy (Quentin), and Diane and finace Kimo; a brother, Corky; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Bill was held in Bigfork on Friday, January 25, 2008.
