Billy Bright Obituary

Billy Bright of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Bright; sons, Jay Bright and Michael McDaniel (Samantha); grandsons, Brandon McDaniel and Noah McDaniel; brothers, Marvin Bright (Winkie) and Frank Bright (Ruth); sister, Cledith Perrigan; and special nephew, Anthony Perrigan (Juli).
During his working career, he was employed by Advance Auto and was part owner of the Credit Bureau of Southwest Virginia. His favorite job was with OPN Law where he made many friends.
Services will be private with Pastor Tracy Terry officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Good Samaritan Hospice, 2408 Electric Road, Roanoke, VA 24018. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.oakeys.com.

So sorry to hear of Billy´s passing, but he had so many friends and I worked at Advance Auto and Billy was a great man. He was so kind and a hard worker. Pray for your family and you were truly blessed to have had a good man all those years. Be blessed

Linda, my heart goes out to you for your loss. Billy was such a good guy and I know he loved you very much.
Billy always had a cup of coffee in his hand and a story to tell. He loved mowing grass and kept his yard immaculate with all kinds of flowers. He was a great gardener and grew the best strawberries I've ever eaten. Billy and Eric loved talking politics and listening to Limbaugh. They helped each other keep all of our many cars running. Billy was a wonderful neighbor and we will miss him. I know he and Eric have a lot of catching up to do in heaven.
