Charles was a good friend of the family; in fact my daughters thought of him as "Uncle Charles". My husband Dave Ringley and Charles met at VPI (I think) and were lifelong friends thereafter. Quiet and steadfast, Charles was always there for us. Blessings to all his family.

Charles was an outstanding young man and a life long friend. He was an "uncle" to both my daughters and the best friend of David Ringley. I treasure his memory.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. Charles was a good friend and favorite "uncle" to both my daughters. My husband David met Charles at VPI and they were life long friends. Charles was a person you could count on in time of need. Kind and caring, he was always there for us. Blessings to all.

Dear Eloise, Bob Ringley called to tell me of Charles's death and I was saddened at his passing. My prayers go with you and his family at this time. He was a generous, kind and loving man whom David and I both loved. He was full of fun too! Lovingly, Betty Ringley
