Hassell family,
I am very sorry for your loss. I had the privledge of working with him at the Housing Authority, he was training me and we became good friends, and liked to argue with one another. He was one of a kind. I will miss him.

I remember Curtis as a great harmonica player and a vital member of the Rick Bucklin Blues Band. He brought a lot of joy and fun into people's lives through his music and his kindness. My condolences to his family and all who loved him.

Dear Lisa and boys, words are such a loss at such a time like this. Curtis was one in a million. His smile was one that could always lift your spirits and make you laugh. I had the privilege of working with him at the Housing Authority and he took such pride in all that he did for us there. We will miss his sweet spirit and kind ways. May God hold you and the boys in the palm of his mighty hands.

Mrs Hassell, I work at the Housing Authority and only know your husband as the quiet man who liked jazz. My prayers go out to you and your family at this time and hope that you will find comfort in God's love.

Lisa,Timothy & Louis:
It has saddened my heart to hear that Curtis passed on. He was a very devoted & loving father, husband and friend to many in the Copper Hill area.
Although he is no longer with you and the boys, his memory of the good times you all shared will be with you forever.
God be with you and grant you peace.
