I was so sorry to read of Allen's passing. I was one year behind Allen and watched him play basketball with my brother Teddy Werner on the Edwardsville Tiger's. His son Jeff was also a friend of my son Greg. My thoughts are with all of the family at this difficult time.

With Allen being a long time friend of my husband, Rich, I had the pleasure of meeting Allen and it was very clear he was a very dear, kind person. So many will miss him. I am so very sorry for the loss his family has suffered. My deepest sympathy.

So sorry for your loss. My dad worked for Cassens for 35 years and retired. He had passed away 12 years ago. But we are always excited to see a Cassens truck on the roads to this day. Linda, When I think of Allen the first thing that comes to mind was his wonderful smile. His smile was genuine and contagious. Please take comfort in remembering that part of his many wonderful qualities.
