JAMES ERNEST LAROSE, 71 NORFOLK, Va. - James Ernest LaRose, 71, of Norfolk passed away Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Born in Rockford, Ill., to Grace Evangeline Wiedman and Eugene Martin LaRose, Jim was a retired real estate appraiser in Richmond. Jim is survived by his wife, Carole Ann LaRose; children, Laura (Paul) Brazier of Centreville, Blake James (Mari Beth) LaRose of Manteo, N.C., and Douglas LaRose of Los Angeles; grandchildren, Jordan LaRose and Mitchell and Elizabeth Brazier; brother, Garwin LaRose of Rockford; and sister, Annabelle Brunell of Greer, S.C. He was predeceased by a brother, Martin LaRose. Memorial service at noon Tuesday, Oct. 13, in First Presbyterian Church, Norfolk, where the family will receive friends one hour before service time. Private burial at a later date. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
