I am so sorry to hear of Pete's passing. He and I enjoyed doing appeals against each other. Always there with a smile and constant encouragement, even when we were on opposite sides. Now that is a great trait to have and hard to find today! He will be missed. He also loved the blues! Pete, God bless you and your loving family.

As a former Winnebago County Courthouse Bailiff, I had the pleasure of knowing Pete. It was always great to talk with him when he was in my courtroom. Condolences to his family.

I am so sorry to learn of Pete's passing. I always thought he was one of the nicest, kindest people I knew. He had a great sense of humor, too. I was always happy to see him come into our court and get a chance to talk. Great guy - he will really be missed. Mary Lindbloom

I am deeply saddened and shocked to learn of Pete's passing. He was an amazing man and I will forever cherish the fun times we had over the years. I learned valuable life lessons from Pete and some good "street smarts" too. He was like a second father to me and even beat my parents to the hospital when I gave birth to my son. He was so very proud of his girls and had a special sparkle in his eye whenever he spoke of them. Also, he was happy beyond words with the birth of his grandchildren. My deepest sympathies to Sara and Laura and family. Rest in peace my friend.

A few years back, Pete was a loyal customer of mine. I remember having many great conversations with him and how highly he spoke of his family. My condolences to Pete's family.
