Remigeo "Ray" Piccioli, 82, Lake Summerset, IL, formerly of Chicago, died at 9:23 p.m., Tuesday, November 8, 2016, in The Monroe Clinic Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 12, 2016, in St. Mary Catholic Church, 602 West Main Street, Durand, IL. Cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, November 11, at McCorkle Funeral Home-Durand Chapel, 101 W Main Street, Durand, IL, with a scripture service to be held at 8 p.m. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Saturday prior to the funeral mass. Dear Raelynn and Family, we were saddened to learn of Ray's passing. Bob and Ray grew up together and eventually we all spent many great, fun times on the corner of Lincoln & Diversey. Ray was always the
happy, smiling, mellow guy. A gentle man.
When Bob's Mom got in plumbing trouble on
Cornelia, it was Power Plumbing to the rescue - she adored Ray. You were all blessed. We truly hope Betty and Ray are
together again. May they rest in peace.
