Gary McDaniels Obituary
MALLORY, W.Va. — Gary McDaniels, 56, of Mallory, departed this life Wed., May 7, 2014, at Logan Regional Medical Center after a short illness.
Born Nov. 10, 1957, at Man, he was a son of the late Effie McDaniels Bennette.
He was a coal miner employed with Rock House Creek Development. Gary enjoyed fishing.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 30 years, Fairy Louise Wingler McDaniels; three sons, Gary Steven (Amber) McDaniels of Logan, Kevin (Ashley) McDaniels of Elk Creek, and Justin Tyler McDaniels, at home; one brother, Dana Bennette of Logan; five grandchildren, Jaden, Chloe, Levi, Billy and Destiny; and his good friends, John and Judy Collins of Mallory and Misty Grimmett of Man.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Mon., May 12, at Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. Dewey Lusk officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill where military graveside rites will be conducted by VFW Post 6153 and American Legion Post 103 of Chapmanville and DAV Post 39 of Harts.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
