I had the honor of being a student of George's at Sac City. It was an amazing experience to be taught by someone that loves their craft, their job. Thank you George.

George was a friend that will be missed. He was truly a good person that added so much to his students and friends lives.

An iconoclast, George led Union Hall Gallery with affection for all gallery visitors, especially children. His zoot suit ensembles were part of his schtick. How many portraits were drawn of him? More than can be recalled.
Thank you for being an elder statesman of the arts in Sacramento.
