George was a friend that will be missed. He was truly a good person that added so much to his students and friends lives.

An iconoclast, George led Union Hall Gallery with affection for all gallery visitors, especially children. His zoot suit ensembles were part of his schtick. How many portraits were drawn of him? More than can be recalled.
