CREASY, Grant Wilson
Born to Grant Carr & Eva Rae Creasy in Santa Barbara, CA on Oct. 7, 1928, and passed away on Dec. 16, 2004. As a child, his mother and he moved to Yuba City, CA where he attended Nuestro Grammar School and Sutter High School. He enlisted in the Navy and served during the Korean War. Returning to Yuba City to his life as a Farmer, he was Wed on Nov. 25, 1956, to his wife Marijane Robey of 48 years. They have 3 children, Carolyn, Jill & Richard. There are six grandchildren. In 1976 Grant retired from farming, and moved to Carmichael, CA, where he was employed by Crocker Bank as a Farm Manager and Rural Appraiser. He was retired from the bank and opened his own appraisers business for 3 more years. Grant was a member of Sunrise Golf Course and found many great days of enjoyment there with friends. He had a life membership to Carmichael Elks, he served as Skipper to the Silver Sloop Mariners. This Wonderful man, husband, father, grandfather & friend to many will be greatly missed. Remembrances may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital in Sacramento or organizations of your choice. Private Graveside service will be held at Sutter Community Cemetery.
