Sacramento, California - Janet Schwartz passed away on November 11, 2021, surrounded by her children, husband, and caregivers, in Sacramento at the age of 81. She was born in Redding, California on July 10, 1940 to John and Marjorie Koll. Janet graduated from Sacramento High School and retired from Bank of America after working more than 30 years as a merchant teller. She enjoyed gardening, trips to Lake Tahoe, shopping, photography, adding pieces to her various collections, playing cards and board games and attending her grandchildren's many sporting events. She was preceded in death by her mother Marjorie Koll, father John Koll and nephew Daniel Koll. She is survived by her husband Ivan Schwartz, daughter Kristin Usery and sons Kevin Riddle (Elizabeth) and Keith Riddle, step-daughter Debby Rudy(Brian), grandchildren Angelina, Johnna, Larissa and Kaitlin, great grandchild Kyrie, brothers John Koll (Toosje) and William Koll, nieces Pamela Flores (Garrett), Deborah Murphy (John), Rosemary Burns (Robert), Shelley Koll-Miller (Evan), Lea Warren (Brian), and nephews John Koll (Michelle) and Jeffrey Koll (Nidia).
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our team of caregivers, Paula, Ashley, Annie, Amy and Esther for providing extraordinary care to Janet for over two years. A warm thank you to Suncrest Hospice for the compassion and comfort they afforded Janet and her family during her final days.
A private interment will be held at East Lawn Cemetery, 4300 Folsom, Blvd, Sacramento, CA and a celebration of life for Janet will be announced at a later date.

Janet,my BFF for over 70 years will be missed. We lived across the street from each other and had lots of childhood fun. We remained friends to this day, continuing to do things together, including our families. It's difficult losing a long time friend.
