Kathleen Ann Yniguez

Known to her family as "Auntie K" or Nana, Kathie passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 after a courageous 6 month battle with cancer. Kathie's last days were shared with many family members while resting at her daughter's (Erin) in Elk Grove, CA. She leaves behind her children Jesse, Erin and Josh as well as her ever present and devoted grandchildren Mauricio and Breana. Kathie was one of five children; Sheila (Bob) Tomasini, Sharon (George) Wilmoth, Larry (Carol) and James (Debbie) Kenobbie and was preceded in death by her parents Dorothy and Virgil Kenobbie. She was born in Sacramento on August 6, 1953. Her early years were spent in the Tahoe Park neighborhood where she attended All Hallows and graduated from St. Francis High School. Kathie was a Supervisor with the State Dept. of Agriculture which at times required relocation away from the area but she always found a way to return home with "Snickers" her ever present canine for family and those special grand kids. Interment with mom and dad will be at noon on June 25th @ St. Mary's Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Life at Frasinetti's Winery & Restaurant from 1 to 3 pm.
