Sacramento, California - In Loving Memory and Remberance of
MACCHIAVELLI, LaRay A. Loving daughter and friend. Born on October 31, 1941, in California. Preceded in death by her father, Raymond Lewis Macchiavelli, her mother Judyruth Chappell and stepfather, Arthur Chappell, Sr.
LaRay lived in Southern California for a period of time before returning to Sacramento. She started working for the State of California, Department of General Services in September 1988, and retired 16 years later in December 2004. She enjoyed life and spending time with her friends, her family and her pets. She loved playing bocce and was very competitive. She enjoyed bowling in a league, going camping by the ocean, and other outings with her cousin and friends. She traveled to Italy to see part of her Macchiavelli heritage, went to Hawaii and cruised to Alaska. She was a member of the Sons and daughters of Italy and was a member of various other charities. She survived two types of cancer. Her last bout with a rare cancer was not so forgiving. A special thanks to her caregivers and friends who stood by her and provided comfort to her. LaRay was respected, loved and is greatly missed. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Laray was one of the most special people who ever walked this planet; kind, caring, genuine, Italian through and through and loved her family and friends and furry babies. I have and will continue to miss her for as long as I am walking this earth -- but pray I will get to laugh and be silly with her again in heaven! Hugs and love, miss you.

LaRay was a wonderful and kind person.She was a GREAT neighbor.LaRay would always decorate her house inside and out for the Holidays (especially her Birthday 10/31).Knowing and being her friend will be something special for us love you LaRay Silvia and George Hulett
