Margaret Irene Nichols

1929 - 2018

On June 10, 2018, in Sacramento, CA passed away peacefully, aged 88. Margaret is survived by her only child, Andy (Frederic) Nichols and Andy's father, Frederic Arthur Nichols. Devoted grandmother to her four (4) grandsons, Andrew, Travis, Ross and Kyle. Born in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Demetrio Jaramillo and Maria de los Angeles, Margaret is also survived by her brother, Louis Jaramillo and her sister, Anna Marie Gallegos. Margaret was preceded in death by her sisters, Isabella Bonney and Susanna MacNamara. Margaret moved to Northern California in 1960 and has been a resident of Martinez, CA since 1972. In addition to being a full-time homemaker, Margaret was also an aide at the library and a volunteer at the Pleasant Hill Senior Center. Many of Margaret's favorite moments involved spending time with each of her four grandsons, as she was a very loving and caring grandmother. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Margaret's life will take place at Sacred Heart Church in Sacramento, CA on June 22 at 10 AM.
