Norman Abbott Obituary

ABBOTT, Norman St. Elmo
Born June 1, 1919, the son of Otto and Ollie Abbott in Simpson, IL. Passed peacefully July 13, 2004 to be with the Lord. Predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years Ruby Amanda Abbott, brother Lindolf, granddaughter Kathy Marie Abbott, and great-granddaughter Samantha Michelle Snider. Survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Joyce Abbott; daughter Janet Seely; son Dennis and wife Linda; son Mark and fiancee Judy Frank; grandchildren Rose Theis, Michelle Nash, Andrew and Jennifer Seely; great grandchildren Amanda Snider, Brittany and Joshua Theis; sisters Lottie White and Ella Powell and brother Hershel; step children Claudia Wreyford and Kenneth and Keith Hole. A 38 year resident of Sacramento, CA. Retired from Aerojet General Corp. A U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. A long time member and Deacon of Cypress Ave. Baptist Church. He was a man of his word, who led by example of love, equality and without prejudice. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him. A memorial service will be held to honor his life at Cypress Ave. Baptist Church, 5709 Cypress Ave, Carmichael, CA on Friday, July 16, 2004 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society or Cypress Ave. Baptist Memorial Fund. Arrangements in care of Lind Brothers Mortuary, Carmichael Oaks Chapel.
