It has been a year since we seen your transition into the arms of the Lord. My family misses you and will never forget the laughter, sadness we've shared over the years. We were more than cousins, you were more like a brother. I know you are walking around heaven rejoicing. RIP

To the Thornton family I was deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Ronald, he was someone that I came to know through the funeral industry and when his mother died I was the person that help the family with her final arrangements. I will miss him because he was such a passionate person when it came to helping others during their difficult journey of a loved one passing. It is with great honor that I can truly say that we have lost a beautiful spirit on this earth. Ronald was one of the best employees of J. Morris along with Myron, may they both rest in heavenly peace.

Rev, as The Browns called you. In all of our times of need, you were right there all the time dating back from the 90's. I and my family will never, ever forget you. You were part of our family. I have shed tears of your passing, but in my heart you are with the Lord, something that you worked for all of your life. I remember the laughter, the hugs, the sincere conversations we had, and you always, always wished the best for me and my family. Rev, I love you forever, for always, for love. One day I will meet you at the crossroads and hug my family members that has passed on and I will see you again. Lord I pray that Rev's family will be strong through all of this. Amen Angie Washington and the Browns......

To: The Thornton Family

Christ rose from the dead to give eternal life to those who follow Him. In the Gospel of John, Jesus said that there were many rooms in His Father's house. He promised to go ahead and prepare room for those who followed Him. We know that Ronald is home with God.

Although we are grieving at this time there is hope and good news. The good news is that death is now swallowed up in victory (1 Corinthians 15:54-57). The return of Jesus to gather His people to Himself and the promise of eternal life is our hope. We should cling to this promise to keep us going during this difficult time.

Our relationship with Ronald will not die as we will celebrate his wonderful life through many loving memories. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Please lean on us during this time of sorrow.

Death is the gateway into the promise of eternal life as we shed our earthly bodies to enter into the presence of God (1 Corinthians 15:50-53).

Family is forever!

Love,

Cousin Rolina
