Thomas LOWE Obituary
LOWE, Thomas Allen
Age 67, passed into the presence of His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Monday, Aug. 16, 2010 in Sacramento. Interment was at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Lilyan Lowe, and brother, Dennis Lowe. He is survived by two sisters, Janice (Toby) Joe and Christine (Joe) You, sister-in-law Bonnie Lowe, Doris Nishimoto of San Mateo, and aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. Thomas had three degrees: electrical engineering from UC Berkeley, MBA from CSUS and DDS from UCSF. Tom served 3 years in the US Army. He enjoyed salsa dancing, Bible studies and remodeling homes. His Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010 at 2:30 pm at Chinese Grace Bible Church, 6656 Park Riviera Way, Sacramento. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Sutter Stroke Camp, c/o Spencer Ellis, 2800 L St., Room 630, Sac. 95816 or Chinese Grace Bible Church.

Dr Lowe sold me his dental school instruments when he graduated from dental school at UCSF and I was an incoming freshman dental student. I actually ended up using those dental instruments decades into my practice in San Francisco. In fact, some of those instruments were engraved with his name and his wife, Doris Nishimoto. I remember eventually bumping into him at a Promise Keepers convention in San Jose Jose over 10 years later.
