Alex was a loving person. He was a committed team member at Associated Foods Inc. for 39 years. If Alex wasn't working on cars he was jamming out to oldies music or watching his cartoons. Recently he was called home to be with his daughter: Penny Case and siblings: Fred, Lawrence and Anthony and father: Porfirio Marquez. Alex is survived by many family members; his mother: Ida Marquez, his siblings: Jim, Jolene and Hazel. Alex loved spending time with his little ones, whom he leaves behind, Desirae Mendez and Jordan Trager as well as several other grandchildren.
Services will be held this Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 10 AM at our Lady Lorde's Catholic Church 2840 S. 9000 W. Magna UT, 84044. For more information: www.peelfuneralhome.com

Uncle Alex, you were a "cool cat" you always had the coolest cars and choppers. I remember when you used to come to our house and when you were leaving me and my friends always wanted you to do a burn out and my mom would get mad a yell out the door "you better not" or something like that and you did it anyways, it was awesome. I'm gonna miss you, I wish I had a chance to see you one more time. Rest in peace Sapo until we meet again.

I am so saddened by the loss of Alex. He had such a great personality and a wonderful smile. I am happy that we all grew up together here in our little community in Magna. I am glad that I could call this great person my friend.

Alex I am greatful that u shined light in my life. I am thankful that u were part of my family.. We are sad to see u go. I know my sisters happy to see her dad that's the bright side to this. I will miss ur laughter and ur funny comments to stupid stuff. I will miss ur caring soul and the love u had for my kids. Tucker will always remember that low rider toy car u gave him for Christmas . The smiles u put on my kids face every time you saw them. We love u and we will miss u .. Sorry to hear of Ale'x's passing. He was a good friend growing up in Magna. He seemed to always have a smile on his face and a good joke to tell. My condolences to his family.

I sorry to here about Alex passing. He was one of neatest and craziest guy I met. I remember a lot of his muscle cars and smoking the tires down Magna Main, having a few at his house, and that blue 57 he did was beautiful. He was a cool guy with cool cars. Patrick O'Hanlen
