Dorothy Cook Obituary

Dorothy E. Cook 1924 ~ 2008 Dorothy Eileen Winslow Cook passed away April 4th and returned into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father. She was a courageous woman who had a love of life and a love for family. She was a devoted wife, grandma and mother. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is preceded in death by James Otis Cook, her husband of 65 glorious years; her grandson, James M. Cerka and her parents, Frank Winslow and Hildur Avilda Winger Winslow. She is survived by her children, Carol Jenkins, James Brent Cook, Colleen (Dave) Saunders and Martin (Roberta) Cook; sisters, Shirley (John) Street, JoAnn (Dick) Dahn, Susan Forbush and Margie Wagstaff; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Community Nursing Services for all of their kindness and caring. A viewing will be held Saturday, April 12th at 10 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E. 10600 So., Sandy, where a Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. Interment in Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
