Jeannie, I was so sorry to hear about your Mom.I will always remember her as being my Grandma Darlene's best friend. My Grandma is heartbroken as well. She said she remembers when we were in dance class back in elementary school. Can you believe we've known each other for that long and that they have been such dear friends even longer...I will pray for you to find peace. Big Hugs n Loves

Dear Bowden Family: I am sorry to hear about your Mother's passing. I worked with your Father Deen at the BLM and he was a wonderful, hardworking, intelligent person to work with. He was dependable and honest and I could trust him completely when we had an assignment we had to complete together. May the Lord bless you always. Ken Latimer

To the family of our cousin Jean.
We had many great times growing up together. Aunt Bertha was my mother and we spent many good times together and some of those were fighting years--I might say squabbling. Nevertheless we had many good times and shared many good family memories at Reunions and things. I just turned 85 in December and will miss my cousin at the reunions--there's not many of us left. My husband and I appreciate the kind of loving couple the Bowdens were. We're neighbors and we send our love to the family during this difficult time. What has brought us comfort is reflecting on the promise given in John 5:28,29 about seeing all our loved ones again in paradise. Until that time, may your memories with Estella console you.

Dear Bowden Family,
What fun memories we have of the old Meadowbrook neighborhood. Young families in new homes with children running around. Jean and Deen were such a big part of that. We have such fond memories of times past.

I cant believe that mom is gone. I was just with her on Tuesday night at Bunko and she was just mom playing and having fun. She has touched my life more than she will ever realize. What a great women. I will miss you mom. I am glad that you are with dad now and that you are watching down on all of us. I love you! My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
