Madeline and Jay were dear friends of ours. We were members of the Taylorsville Lions Club with them for many years. Madeline and Jay were fun to be with, we remember dancing the night away at the Ft. Douglas Officers Club with them. Elaine served for a short time with Madeline at the Jordan River Temple. We regret we did not know of Madelines death, until Elaine saw the obituary hanging on the bulletin board in the sisters locker room at the Temple.
We send our condolences to the Naylor family. May our Heavenly Father bless you during this very difficult time.

May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories and joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I lived in the neighborhood and always knew that Madeline was doing the Lord's work. She was a very good example to all that knew her. May God be with you and your family.

I was in Madeline's ward for many years. She was always so pleasant and cheerful, even when she was ill. She always wore the most beautiful outfits and was the picture of femininity. She was a very classy lady whom I felt lucky to have known.

Dear Pat (and your brother and sisters)
I don’t know if you remember me, but I worked with you and your Dad (as well as my Dad) at F-B Truck Lines. My parents are Edna and Del and they so loved the friendship they had throughout the years with your parents. I remember Madeline as a very gracious and friendly lady. Madeline called my Mom just last month to say “good-bye”. I wanted you to know how very touched Mom was by Madeline’s call and that she will be forever grateful that your Mom thought enough to call. Mom said Madeline sounded so at peace and the two of them had a lovely conversation. Our deepest sympathy goes to all of you with the loss of such a giving Mother.

I loved Aunt Madeline. She was the aunt I knew best because she used to take care of us when Mom and Dad would go on trips. Madeline was always so caring and unconditional in her acceptance of others. I always felt loved. I will miss her gentle soul.

If there were a perfect person it would be aunt Madeline. She was a model in every sense of the word. She had unstinting care and concern for others and would help those in need in the highest degree. I am honored to have had her as an aunt.

Madeline was such a dear friend of mine. We shared a birthday, and it was always a race to see who could call first. She usually won.
I loved Madeline dearly. She was pure and genuine. I will miss her so much. The funeral falls at the same time my granddaughter is getting married in the SL Temple. Jerry is still down, and can't even attend that. We are so sorry to miss her funeral. I know it will be beautiful, as she was beautiful.
All our love, Jan and Jerry Pierce
