PAUL LARSON Obituary

Paul Wood Larson 1939 ~ 2011 Paul Wood Larson, born in American Fork, Utah on February 16, 1939, second son and fourth child of Leona Wood and Earl Larson, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home in American Fork on the lovely sunny morning of January 7, 2011, attended by his family. Paul is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sharon, children, Jeff (Robyn), Shane (Genevieve), LeAnn (Criss), Taylor, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Survived also by sisters May Motsinger, Wanda (John) Bonnett and brother Leroy (Eloise) Larson. Paul was the original "cock-eyed optimist". He loved life; he loved every day of his work as a building materials salesman. He greeted each day with enthusiasm for his work and his network of friends. If you were a friend of Paul's, you were a friend of his friends. Paul will be sorely missed by his family, his extended family, his friends and those fortunate enough to know him. Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 11, 2011 at 12:00 noon in the American Fork 4th Ward, 455 East 300 North. Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North American Fork, and Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Dear Sharon & Family,
Doris and I were deeply saddened to learn of Paul's passing. We have always valued your friendship even though it has been quite a few years since we have enjoyed a close association. I will always remember the great times Paul and I enjoyed as we attended BYU football and basketball games together. May our Father in Heaven's choicest blessings be with you now and in the years ahead.

We met Paul when he worked at BMC. He grew to be a good friend.
He was always so friendly and fun to talk to. Merril,my husband, thought a great deal of Paul. When I would go to pick up something for the job we were on, or to order something, he would come and make sure he always spoke with me, find out how Merrill and I were doing. The world, has lost a fine man. Our deepest sympathy, from the Hunt Family.

So very very sad to hear. I am privileged to have share time with Paul. There were many times I knew I asked more of him than I would have given to others. He was and will be a true example of someone we would ALL like to be. May you make as many others where you are as fulfilled as those who had the chance to know you here. Till we meet again.
