Albert Kellner

April 5, 1928 - February 23, 2015
Albert G. Kellner, Jr., born April 5, 1928, went to be with our Lord on February 23, 2015 at the age of 86. Mr. Kellner was born in Floresville, Texas and lived most of his life in San Antonio. He was a longtime member of
St. David's Episcopal Church. He proudly served in the United States Navy and was a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his loving wife of almost 62 years Margie Lea Kellner; daughters and sons-in-law Laura and Tim Woodall and Colleen and Johnny Wells; grandchildren and their spouses, Sara and Clayton Zercher, Shanna and Jeremy Davenport, Amy and Quinn Dahlberg, Alan Woodall, Mikki and Lee Harris and Darren Wells; great-grandchildren Colt and Ellie Zercher, Zane and Corban Davenport, Blake and Paige Dahlberg and Jordan and Donovan Harris; sisters Joyce Mathis and husband Jerry and Carolyn Kellner; brothers and sisters-in-law Eugene and Geraldine Kellner and Fred and Ann Kellner and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Good Shepherd Hospice and especially Mr. Kellner's nurse Rose for their kindness, compassion and care during a very difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that remembrances be made to St. David's Episcopal School for "Growing the Tradition" or your favorite charity.
SERVICES:
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Mission Park South. Funeral service will be Monday, March 2, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at St. David's Episcopal Church, 1300 Wiltshire Ave, San Antonio, Texas 78209. Graveside service will follow at 1:00 P.M. at Mission Burial Park South.
