Albertana Fernandez Obituary

Albertana Rafaela Fernandez passed away May 9, 2005 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 73. She was born in Treviño, Texas on February 26, 1932. Mrs. Fernandez is survived by her Sons, Ascencion (Bertha) Fernandez, Jr., Joe (Mary) Fernandez, Fernando (Yolanda) Fernandez, Valentin Fernandez, Fidencio (Gracie) Fernandez, Roland (Sylvia) Fernandez; Daughters, Consuelo (Adolfo) Villarreal, Paulina Fernandez, Guadalupe Moreno, Janie Garcia, Sandra Fernandez, Rosalinda Fernandez; 39 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco & Paula Rodriguez; husband, Ascencion Fernandez, Sr.; and numerous brothers and sisters. The visitation for Rafaela will begin on May 10, 2005 from 12 noon until 9 pm at Brookehill Funeral Home. The visitation will continue on May 11, 2005 from 8 am until 9 pm with a rosary to be recited at Brookehill Funeral Home Chapel at 7 pm. The funeral procession will depart from Brookehill Funeral Home on May 12, 2005 at 9:30 am for a 10 am Mass at San Francisco de la Espada Mission with burial to follow in First Memorial Park near Poteet, Texas.
