Concha Dominguez Obituary

Mrs. Concha A. Dominguez, beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2003 at the age of 80. She left this world peacefully with her family at her side. She was preceded in death by son, Frank A. Monroe. She is survived by sons, Norman A. Monroe, Ralph (Janie) Monroe, Danny (Rowena) Dominguez and Jesse (Gloria) Dominguez; daughters, Martha (Ernest) Flores, Josie (Willie) Settles, Janie (David) Vega and Micaela (Robert) Tijerina; sister, Eloise (Jesse) Acosta; special nephew, Andy Arismendez; 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, August 15, 2003 at 7:30 P.M. at The Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, August 16, 2003 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Henry's Catholic Church with Monsignor Emil Wesselsky officiating. Interment will follow at San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No. 2. Special thanks to Pastor Abel Escamilla for his prayers and support to the family. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Michael Monroe, Robert Monroe, Ralph Monroe Jr., David Vega Jr., Daniel A. Dominguez and Derek A. Dominguez. The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice Staff for their support and help to the family. Arrangements by The Angelus Funeral Home.
