Debra Azzoz Obituary

August 13,1959 - September 1, 2015
Debra Sue (Smith)Azzoz, the daughter of the late Roy W Smith and Vivian Ruiz Smith, left us to be with the lord on September 1,2015.Debra was born on August 13,1959 and dedicated much of her fun loving life as a Phlebotomist, who worked at South Texas Tissue Center. She was very religious and worshiped God.She loved to play jokes and pranks, but above this she loved her family. Her grand children were her pride and joy.She leaves to cherish her memory, her children Eric and Michelle, precious grandchildren, Amber,Trinity,Alexis,Danyell, and Hailey. Her sisters and brothers and a host of Nephews, Nieces as well as other family members and friends knew Debra laughed often and loved much. We miss you now Debra, our hearts are sore, we shall meet together once more. Michelle, your mother gave me this message to whisper to you but I want to share with all,she loved you dearly, as you were her strength, her right arm.She asked to keep a 20 ounce of Big Red ready for her.

Debbie, I remembered the first time I met you. About 20 years ago, we pulled up to Jo-Ann's house on Colima. Bob was so excited for me to meet you. He tells me that he wants to introduce me to his favorite aunt Debbie. I was so nervous because I didn't know what to expect and when I met you, I became instantly comfortable and relaxed. You were very sweet and welcoming and right away started cracking jokes. The first story you ever told me was about when Bob was a baby he would throw glass bottles at your head. After our visit with you, Michelle & Eric I knew I was going to love being apart of this family. You and Jo-Ann took me in and loved me unconditionally. You taught me a-lot and I will forever be grateful. You are dearly missed. I love you Debbie, always..till we meet again...
