Eugene Grams Obituary
Eugene John Grams Jr., age 66, of Adkins, went home to the Lord on July 30, 2010. He was preceded in death by father, Eugene J. Grams Sr. Eugene Jr. is survived by his mother, Philomena Grams of Adkins, TX; brothers, Erwin L. Grams of Lakeland, FL, Roy P. Grams of Adkins, TX and Timothy T. Grams of Hermitage, TN; sisters, Geraldine A. Grams of Adkins,TX and Jeanette M. Grams of Adkins, TX; niece, Katie Gray of Lakeland, FL; nephew, Michael John Grams and wife Ramona of Carol Stream, IL and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Poret and Roland for their help and support during Eugene's illness. Visitation will take place Monday, August 2, 2010 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel.

What a shocker!! Gene was my first contact in Billy Wiley's shop when I came on. He was a terrific guy, great sense of humor, and would give you the shirt off his back. Heartfelt regards to the family. We are visiting relatives in LA, can't make the funeral.

This breaks my heart. Gene worked five feet from me in the same office. He was a wonderful guy to share an office with. He used to be the go-to guy for taxes around the building. Every hour, he took what he called a "smoke break" where he would go outside and suck on a lollypop. I still think of him often.
