Felix Hernandez Obituary
Felix Ramirez Hernandez, born on May 18, 1924 in San Antonio, TX went to be with the Lord on June 2, 2014 at the age of 90. He is preceded in death by his wife, Anita S. Hernandez, his brothers; Juan and Vicente, and his sisters; Lupe and Felicia. He is survived by his son, Anthony Hernandez (Norma Jean), grandchildren; Anthony Rene Hernandez, Mark and Maci Mendez, great-grandchildren; Michael Anthony Hernandez, Maverick Lee Mendez, and his sisters; Maria, Janie, Elena, and Leonor. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 9:00 am for a 9:30 am Mass of Resurrection at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. My brother Anthony, we all share in the loss of our beloved Uncle Felix. He lived a long full life and shared so many great times with Daddy and the Saldana family. He was very proud of you and loved your music. He brought many people much joy and entertainment

Anthony, my deepest condolences on the passing of uncle Felix. My fondest childhood memories include staying at tia Josie and tia Trine's house at summertime and you and I would run around the entire neighborhood and stop by your dad's barber shop to get something cold to drink....I remember him sitting in his barber chair reading the newspaper. Anthony Sr, and family;
We are extending our deepest condolences for the loss of your dad.
God is good, he gave your father 90 years of life as he chose and embraced his everyday flesh living as he wanted to. Today, your Dad stands along side of our God and will continue to protect and guard your souls.
During our time of grief, we want answers to everything, but we must come to the place where we're satisfied to know the One who knows and place our trust in Him.
We may go through some things that we'll never understand, but trusting God to work them out for our good is the right thing. Embrace to the light of healing, comfort and time.
May God Bless each of you during your time of sorrow.
