Jacovo Sanchez Obituary
Jacovo D. Sanchez Sr., born March 18, 1951 went to be with Our Lord on April 27, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents Mr.& Mrs Teoflio Sanchez Sr. & In Laws Mr. & Mrs. Bruno Castillo. Survived by his caring, compassionate & supportive wife of 42 years, Juanita C. Sanchez (Janie) & Son Jacovo Sanchez Jr. & only grandchild Jaclyn Le Rae. Brothers, Guadalupe (Mary Alice), Teoflio (Rosa) & Gilberto (Rebecca) Sanchez. Sisters: Consuelo (Guadalupe) Perez, Josie (Louie) Cardenas, Rosa Ahumada & Mary Lou Navarro. Brother-in-laws: Hector (Yolanda) Castillo & Mario (Linda Jo) Castillo. Godchildren: Melinda Castillo, Marissa Sanchez, Xochtil Cuellar, Becky Medina, Henry Sanchez Jr. & Ralph Perez and many nieces, nephews, cousins and multitude of friends. Jacovo retired from Edgewood ISD. He loved being outside with his roosters & taking care of his "Animalitos". A special thanks to Pallbearers & closest friends, Mr. Dionicio Esquivel, Mark Aguirre, Eddie Pelayo Jr., Eddie Pelayo Sr., Alfonso Olague, Raul (Raulito) Zuniga, nephew J .R. Castillo & Heart to Heart Hospice for all their support. At the family's request, no picture taking or audio/video recording of any kind for the respect of their Loved One. A Holy Rosary will be recited on Thursday April 30 at 7 PM at Ortiz Mortuary Chapel. Funeral will depart on May 1st at 9:30AM for a 10AM Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery # 2.
