Joyce was the sweetest lady at GVNC. She was always watching the cats till they took them away.

She was definitely one of a kind and will be truly missed by all of us who knew her. She loved telling all of us her stories and coloring pages for us. She had a heart of gold. Fly high love!

Joyce loved to sit outdoors at the nursing home, enjoying the black cat as a companion, as well as anyone else she could visit with. She had philosophies about nature, answers to how the world could be better, interest in people, and memories of her life on the farm. She always had a story. This last year was not easy on her, however and our conversations were fewer. May she now rest in the peace of He who has called her home.
