Mavis Montemayor Obituary
Mavis Montemayor beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and God Mother went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 20th, 2016 at the age of 79. Mavis was passionate about her faith serving St. Gabriel's Catholic Church for over 25 years. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. She is reunited in heaven with her parents Jose and Paula Perez, brothers Aurelio and Joe Perez and mother in law Elisa Montemayor. She will be missed by her husband of 59 years Leopoldo S. Montemayor Sr., children Irene, Leopoldo Jr., Monica Deans (Larry), Paul (Yvonne) and Mark, sister Susie Garza, 6 grandchildren sister in law Gloria Perez and Licha Garibay and numerous other nephews, nieces, God children, friends and family. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 28th from 3pm to 9pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm. A procession will depart the funeral home on Wednesday, June 29th at 9:30am from a 10am funeral mass at St Gabriel's Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery II.
