Priscilla Montoya Obituary
Priscilla Marie Montoya, born January 30, 1989 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at the age of 20. She is survived by her parents Ruben and Deborah A. Montoya; brother Ruben Montoya Jr.; sister Dominique Montoya; maternal grandparents Paul and Flora Ancira; maternal grandmother, Margarita Ancira; paternal grandparents Ramon and Aurora Montoya; maternal great grandmother Eloisa B. Flores. Visitation will be at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at 9:30 am for a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at Little Flower Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.

Death is part of life.It's the end of life on earth.Some people die when they are young and others when they are old.We never know how long someone is going to live but we know when they leave we are going to miss them because we loved and cared for them.They were the reason we had a smile on our face. They were the ones to wipe our tears and make us laugh when we were down or having a bad day.I remember every brek or vacation we had we spent it at our Aunt Debbies house.We always looked forward to going to spend time with Dominique and Priscilla I remember Priscilla buying stuff to make cookies with us.I remember being in Dominiques room and Priscilla would come in and say dance contest or singing contest. Priscilla was a kind,sweet,loveable person with a very big heart.

Several family members walked 5k in your honor..It was a beautiful ceremony each of us released butterflies in your honor at the end of function while "If you can only imagined" played..It was a beautiful ceremony...

We were invited to attend Castillo Funeral Home 1st year Dia De Los Muertos Celebration...In attendance was me, your dad, Dominique, your Grandma Montoya, Margie, Victoria, Cookie, Carlos, Sabrina, Michelle,Prieta, Maria, Andrew, Carol, Alec & Mari...Also we saw Father Kevin he did the services for you...It was real nice, they had a mass, mariachi's, dancers, music & a meal...Best part was we were all together.. We took some pics, shared some tears, some laughs and some stories...You, Your Grandpa Montoya & Larry are greatly missed...

Dia de los Angelitos—the day to remember children that have died...Some of your cousins shared w/me that they did a alter in your honor..Also today @ St James Church we were invited to attend a memorial meal in memory of our loved ones..It was special to us becuz Jaz participated in making a alter of loved ones & helped serve in memorial meal..Denise was also involved she was one of the teachers..

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,

It's really hard to say good-bye...I myself am not ready but I know that you are were we all strive to be..I pride myself on how much I love my family..and I know actions speak louder then words...and I wish I could turn back the hands of time...and I can't...so I want to say that I love you very much!!! I am going to miss your cute laugh...your love...and your smile...You have taught me something so important...How to be a good sister...People who really knew you know that you loved your brother, Ruben and sister, Dominique...How I will strive to have relationships with my brothers and sisters just like you: a never ending love, unconditional acceptance of each other, and forgiveness... I went to school with Priscilla, and I only found out she died today. She was such a sweet girl and she was so nice to me and my brother.
She had such a future, and it's now gone. I am horribly sorry for your lost. Then to also lose Cara at the same time... they were such sweet girls.

My condolences goes to the beloved family of my great Aunt Lola and uncle Cuco Montoya, Rita and Ramon I know that Larry and Priscilla both have been recieved with loving arms by both their beloved Great/Grandparents and our extended family in heaven. Take comfort in the knowledge they were also recieved by our father in heaven, our lord and savior. Hold on to each others as you will need to lean on each other more in the days to come.
