Rosa Ann Lyssy

Rosa Ann Lyssy, age 93, of Falls City, TX, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2006 in Kenedy, TX. Mrs. Lyssy was born to the late Charles Moczygemba and Gertrude Korzekwa Moczygemba on December 29, 1912 in Falls City. She married the late Felix H. Lyssy on November 14, 1932 in Cestohowa, TX. Mrs. Lyssy was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Falls City and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She was a devoted homemaker, an aide at a nursing home in Nixon, TX, and a home care giver. Mrs. Lyssy is survived by five sons; Albert and his wife Loraine Lyssy of San Antonio, TX, Lucian and his wife Lola Lyssy of Lampasas, TX, Paul and his wife Paula Lyssy of Falls City, Raymond C. and his wife Lola Lyssy of Runge, TX, and Robert Lyssy of Falls City. She is survived by one daughter; Dolores and her husband Donnie Mzyk of Forney, TX. Mrs. Lyssy is survived by two sisters; Doris Kopecki of San Antonio and Maggie Wilhelm of Deer Park, TX. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Mrs. Lyssy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers; Ben and Charles Moczygemba, and one infant brother; Paul Moczygemba. A Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:30 PM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Falls City. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, July 8, 2006, 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Falls City. Fr. Kazimierz Oleksy SDS will officiate.
